Terms of Use

This is the English version of the DeconParts Terms of Use, served from our backend so it can be updated without an app release.

1. Scope

These terms govern your use of DeconParts. The product is designed for primary-school students in grades 1–6 (roughly ages 6–12); a guardian must consent and accompany users under 14.

2. Accounts and guardians

• Accounts are registered with a guardian's email address (email + password), or created with Sign in with Apple. You must accept these terms and the Privacy Policy and confirm that you are the guardian.
• One account can hold several sign-in methods (email, Apple ID). Connecting a new method requires verifying it first, and at least one method must stay connected.
• Email verification codes are used for sign-up verification and password reset; please use a mailbox you can access long term.
• A child profile stores only a nickname and grade, used for content grading and learning records.
• The same account can be used on multiple iPads; learning data syncs per child profile.

3. Content and intellectual property

• 3D models, explanations, audio, quizzes and collections belong to us or our licensors.
• Content packs are distributed encrypted and may only be used inside the app; extraction or redistribution is not allowed.
• Free and member content is defined inside the app (in this version, any membership tier unlocks all member content).

4. Payments and subscriptions

• Memberships (monthly / quarterly / yearly) are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Prices, billing periods and intro-offer conditions follow the App Store; all three tiers unlock the same content on one account.
• This version does not offer per-item purchases.
• Auto-renewal can be turned off any time in your Apple subscription settings; closing your account does not cancel a subscription.
• Digital refunds follow Apple's policy. If we later offer physical services such as 3D printing, separate terms and payment channels will apply.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not bypass content access controls (cracks, scripts or automation).
• Do not upload or spread unlawful content; the app does not accept user-generated uploads.
• Guardians can set time limits, content levels and hidden content in the parent area.

6. Changes and termination

• We will notify you in the app when these terms change. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
• You can request account deletion in the parent area: it requires one identity verification (an email code or a fresh Apple authorisation), then a 7-day cooling-off period (the account is frozen, and you can undo it with a code sent to your registered email). Afterwards data is deleted or anonymised as described in the Privacy Policy.
